Camp Hebron...teen retreat

This is my cabin...I had 7 young ladies in this cabin. Tyler hanging out...
Let the fun begin...John showing off his tumbling abilities....nearly gave me a heart attack!!

Andrew competing with John...
Seth and Josh waiting for supper to be done.
My brother in law, Justin, cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs.
Richard and Grant bonding!

Andrew, John, Indy and Richard...part of the "Man Club" they created. haha

Each teen had an envelope to receive encouraging notes throughout the weekend. They loved reading them all at the end of the weekend.
Dodge Ball....OUCH...that's about I'll I can say.
Indy showing off his beat boxing talent.
Pastor Gary, from Selinsgrove Naz, challenging Indy in beat boxing.
The teens getting ready to play capture the flag(mission orders).
The "jail" for capture the orders.
Some of the teens trying to find their mission orders.

John doing part of his mission orders. He still was able to run a straight line...after spinning 10 times.
Our group of teens...they are amazing! Great time!
The dining hall...the food was actually good.
We arrived on Friday evening to Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA. We all unloaded our stuff, registered, unpacked and got ready for supper and the evening mission and service. This year's theme was "007 Agents of Christ". Throughout the weekend each team had missions they had to complete...finding Bible verses, searching for clues, memorizing verses, etc.. The teens all had a positive attitude and we all had alot of fun. The speaker was Pastor Brian from Manheim, Pa. He did a great job of inspiring the teens and challenging them to grow in their relationship with Christ.
My cabin remained relatively calm...no pranks played on me!! haha I was prepared and ready to retaliate if needed! haha I did manage to get poison oak over the weekend. I never even thought about that possibility, because in 34 years...I've never had any kind of poison. I guess my time was due, because I've got it good. I guess it's making up for all the years I didn't have it! :(
We had many teens come to Christ and rededicate their lives to Christ. It was awesome. We came back to Mifflinburg Sunday afternoon. Revival at our church started Sunday morning. We had many teens show up for the evening service, even though they were exhausted from the weekend. The evangelist was Dr. Chick Shaver. He preached on sanctification on Sunday night. We had 2 teens go up to the altar during that service and many more throughout revival week.
Pray that God will continue working in the lives of these young men and ladies. They really need our prayers and dedication in their lives. They are an awesome group of teens! I really enjoy being one of their leaders.

Danish Proverb

A RICH CHILD OFTEN SITS IN A POOR MOTHER'S LAP.

I love this Danish proverb. It is not about what we have materially, but what we give in so many other ways to our children. Faith, hope, encouragement, comfort, joy, warmth, sincerity, honesty and above all else....LOVE!

Dad, Mom and Grandma's visit...

For some reason, I did not take as many pics as normal. Mom took a bunch and posted some on her Facebook account. If you're interested...look her up on Facebook.

We had a wonderful visit and as always...too short!! I loved getting to be with dad, mom and grandma Yount. I wish we lived closer...515 miles is too far away!! :( The week we had together was great. The boys were ready to pack their suitcases and head to Cincinnati! haha!! Jeremiah and Elijah spent basically the whole week at the cabin with Papa and Mimi. I had given them their Spring break last week. They were very excited to be out of school for a week and to be with Papa, Mimi and Grandma Yount! :)

Elijah has been waiting all his life...

Elijah is 4 years old now. He is growing up very fast. Today he started soccer for the first time. This is his first official sport. He told me today that he has been waiting all his life to play soccer! What a long wait in a child's mind. Soccer started at 5:30 and he had a blast. He talked the whole practice...mainly to other team members. He had a smile as big as can be the whole time. When practice was over, we had to fly to Caravan at church. He was very happy to wear his new uniform and show all his church friends. Tonight he told me that he just loves soccer and that it was the best day. I'm so happy for him. Jeremiah found some kids from our local homeschool group to play with. Isaiah kept himself content by playing with a soccer ball and an empty goal.
chatting away...
Jeremiah having a good time playing.

still chatting up a storm...they just met!

Learning how to throw the ball in...

Talking his coach's ear off...
Very happy that daddy came for the last half of the practice!
