Archery Class

Yesterday was the first day for Jeremiah's archery class. Our local homeschool group offers many classes and activities for our group. Jeremiah has been very interested in archery, so we were excited to see this class offered. The first class offered a history of bow and arrow, and then about 35 minutes of shooting time. There were 11 students in the class, and they all had a great time. Mr. Weaver owns a archery store, and offers instruction to anyone wanting to learn more about this sport. Jeremiah LOVED this class, and was very excited about shooting a variety of bows.
He had a chance to shoot a cross bow, and his response was "that's SMOKIN!" I'm not sure where he heard that expression, but I got a kick out of his enthusiasm. He has 5 more classes, and can't wait until next week's class! Elijah and Isaiah got to ride bikes inside the shooting gallery, which kept them busy.

Very cool!!! Some of my students (even a few girls) are going to be competing in archery this year at student convention. We'll be doing lots of "shooting time" too!

Jeremiah looks like such a big boy in this picture! I just figured that would be right up his little alley of life because he is such a macho little boy! Break out the flannel shirts and jeans!Ha Love you and miss you everyday! Mom
